Brenda Best attended The 40th Annual New Brunswick Country Music Hall of Fame Gala, Saturday, October 14, 2023. The Induction Ceremony was held at The Fredericton Inn Main Ballroom filled to capacity with 400 guests in attendance + five new members inducted to the Hall of Fame. This year, Brenda was presented with an official members’ medallion engraved with the date she was inducted (2015). She also performed her song “Golden Years” at the Gala Concert accompanied by The Gala Band directed by Gary & Tammy Morris. There were 40 performers on the show, all of them Hall of Famers. Brenda Best & Rik Reese (pictured here) traveled from Nashville & Las Vegas to attend their home-province’s annual event. They grew up together and played in the same family band, and then moved away to pursue careers in Country Music and both have found success. It was a wonderful reunion and Brenda proposed the idea of working together in the near future. Maybe a duet !
